December food pantry newsletter
As we close out 2025 we continue to be thankful for the gifts the congregation brings to the food pantry, the volunteers who make the pantry possible and the people coming through the pantry that we are able to serve.
Grants: We received a $1000 grant from Immanuel Lutheran Church Endowment Committee. The pantry also received a $2000 gift from SpartanNash Foundation.
Volunteers: Thanks to the volunteers who help with pantry prep and pantry. We appreciate you all!
Confirmation students will be assisting with pantry prep on Wednesday evenings. Since this is only part of their programming on Wednesdays, we welcome any parents who would like to assist in completing the prep once the children go to class.
If you would like to volunteer to help with upcoming pantries, please click here to sign-up. This will aid us in knowing who is coming to volunteer and to ensure we have opportunities for all.
December Numbers: we served 159 families, equaling 612 individuals.
Food Pantry Shoppers: Thanks to Peg's Pantry Shopper emails, the congregation continues to support the needs of the pantry.
Current Needs: Our greatest needs this month are cereal, soup, bar soap and toilet paper.
