The Holy Cross Food Pantry continues to serve the community the First Saturday and Third Thursday of every month. We will continue with our drive-thru pantry service until further notice.
This month’s theme turned into Scouting! Our month started off with a donation of Girl Scout Cookies from Emma Roberts and family. Emma spent her Saturday morning literally running back and forth giving away cookies to folks that came through the pantry. Then the third Thursday pantry food bags included more Girl Scout Cookies, this time donated from Scout Troop #48012! Girl Scout Cookies make a huge impact on the folks that come through our pantry. Cookies are definitely something that we take for granted, when you are struggling to afford basic needs, cookies just don’t make the budget.
Finally our friends over at Scout Troop and Pack 558 picked up for the Scouting for Food Event and dropped of a large donation of much needed food to our food pantry. We will be going through all of this food the end of April and this will help fill the shelves for our May pantries.
If you see any of these amazing scouts, make sure to say THANK YOU!
Special thanks to the Confirmation and Youth of Holy Cross! April’s pantry prep was the final Confirmation/Youth pantry prep of the school year. We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to this important ministry here at Holy Cross.
Continue watching Facebook and the bulletin announcements for our food needs list.
Our numbers served through the years for reference.
We appreciate all of your support as we continue to serve the community.
