On Sunday, May 29th, worship will look a little different at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. We will be putting our faith into action! We'll begin in the Sanctuary with a time of scripture and prayer together, before heading into the Fellowship Hall for an intergenerational service project.
For our service project, we will be making a meal and assembling care packages for Youth Emergency Services. Summer months are ahead of us, and YES is in need of care packages filled with items to help get homeless or near homeless youth through the summer months. The care packages will be handed out at the Youth Emergency Services Outreach Center. The meal that we prepare will also be used at their Outreach Center.
For our service project on May 29th, we are in need of donations of the following items:
- Granola Bars (or other individually packaged snacks)
- Bottled Water
- New Socks
- Rain Ponchos
- "Wet Ones" Travel Packs
- Chapstick
- Travel Size Deoderant
Please drop off your donations at the display in the narthex by Sunday May 22nd. Please plan to join us for this act of love towards our neighbors at Youth Emergency Services!
