Spring has sprung and we are thankful for the beautiful weather to serve our neighbors through the pantry!

A special thank you to the Memorial Gifts committee at Holy Cross for the monetary gift to purchase shelving for the pantry.  The new shelving will be used in place of tables to assist in accommodating more bags and take away the risk of anything being placed on the floor.

The pantry team has made the decision to no longer provide flour and sugar in the pantry household bags.  This will be replaced by giving additional rice (4 cups versus 2 cups) to every household.  The rice is more sustainable and a food staple.

As we near the end of the school year, the confirmation students will not be helping with prep during the summer months.  This means we will need additional volunteers for prep on Wednesday evenings.  Watch for the sign ups after school is out and join us if you can!

If you would like to volunteer to help with upcoming  pantries, please click here to sign-up. This will aid us in knowing who is coming to volunteer and to ensure we have opportunities for all.

March Numbers: we served 104 households, equaling 397 individuals.  Our numbers have been down a bit however, we are hoping they will pick up with the nice weather.

Current Needs: Our greatest needs this month are canned fruit, cereal and toilet paper.
