The Holy Cross Food Pantry continues to serve the community the First Saturday and Third Thursday of every month.  We will continue with our drive-thru pantry service until further notice.

Our food pantry continues to do amazing things surrounded by amazing volunteers and support!  We are so very blessed for everyone that helps in any way.

Our friends over at Family Fare off 108th and Maple have been running a Fill the Cart promotion all of March.  Patti at Family Fare continues to make our lives easier by allowing text orders for seamless pickups and providing anything she can at low cost/no cost.  Peg Schneider has been bargain shopping and filled the pantry with canned pineapple that she and Jim spent many evenings clearing the shelves of many stores around Omaha to get the special price.  And special thanks to all the extra support I have received after injuring my back a few months back.  The extra help is greatly appreciated.

To give you an idea of the amazing things we are doing for the folks that come to our pantry, the third Thursday pantry included cheese (picked up by Peg S.), fresh strawberries (picked up by Peg S.), frozen turkey's to the first 34 households (donated by Joel Fitzpatrick and his company), and Easter/Spring children's books (organized by Pat Kern). Thank you, Thank you!

Continue watching Facebook and the bulletin announcements for our food needs list.

Our numbers served through the years for reference.

  • March 2023 we served 89 families with 395 individuals
  • March 2024 we served 178 families with 820 individuals

We appreciate all of your support as we continue to serve the community.
