February Food Pantry Updates
No matter the weather, the need still exists and our pantry volunteers show up! February’s snow storm landed on pantry night and although our numbers were low, we still distributed food to those in need. Snow was being shoveled every 20 minutes to keep the path clean for carts of food. Thank you to all those who braved the weather and served our neighbors.
Confirmation students will be assisting with pantry prep on Wednesday evenings. Since this is only part of their programming on Wednesdays, we welcome any parents who would like to assist in completing the prep once the children go to class.
If you would like to volunteer to help with upcoming pantries, please click here to sign-up. This will aid us in knowing who is coming to volunteer and to ensure we have opportunities for all.
February Numbers: we served 113 households, equaling 462 individuals.
Current Needs: Our greatest needs this month are canned fruit, pasta, ramen noodles and saltine crackers.
