Sunday School

Following worship, we meet in the Sanctuary for some music & movement with Becky before heading to our classrooms until 11:30! We'd love to have you!

April Sunday School Schedule

April 5: Easter Sunday - No Sunday School
April 12: Acts 2:14a, 22–32
April 19: Acts 2:14a, 36–41
April 26: Acts 2:42–47

Sunday school will conclude for the summer on May 10th!

Prayer Faith Mile Marker (3rd Grade)

During March, the 3rd grade Sunday School class took part in the Prayer Faith Mile Marker class with Kelsey. Over two Sundays, we dove deeper into the Lord's Prayer (what are we actually praying about when we say it?!) and we talked about prayer in general - what it is, different ways to do it, and what it can mean to our faith journey. We celebrated the completion of this class during worship on March 22nd. Please pray for Mia Szymczak and Charlotte Anderson as they continue to grow on their journey of faith. 

Explore! Day Retreat at Carol Joy Holling

Elementary school students! Make plans to attend the Explore! Day Retreat at Carol Joy Holling on Saturday April 25th! It is a full day of outdoor fun, creative arts, music, and faith formation for Elementary Age students.  Cost is $30 per child, and you can find more info and registration by clicking here. (Financial assistance is available if needed - contact Kelsey!)

Children + Youth Led Worship - April 26

On Sunday April 26, the Children of Holy Cross will be leading worship! This is one of the most fun Sundays of the year, as we hear all of our little voices lead the congregation through worship together. Please plan to have your child there! *We WILL have Sunday School following worship on April 26.

Junior High Summer Road Trip - Gas to Go!

This summer, our Junior High students are headed to the Twin Cities for our 2026 Junior High Road Trip! Want to help us with Gas to GO? Drop your spare change, dollar bills or checks into the gas can in the Nartex to help the Jr High students get to their destination! We'll be spending time doing service learning work, we'll explore the Twin Cities, and of course - make a trip to the Mall of America. Thank you in advance for your support!

Youth Group

Youth Group is held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 pm. My hope is that our time together can be spent building meaningful relationships, having fun, and learning in a safe space where all feel welcomed and valued. Our last Wednesday evening youth group for the year will be Wednesday April 29th. Keep your eyes out for opportunities to get together over the summer!

Easter Breakfast

It is a tradition at Holy Cross that ALL High School Students serve Easter Breakfast on Easter morning. Please mark your calendars for Sunday April 5 and plan to be there to help with Easter Breakfast! Breakfast takes place directly following worship. This breakfast is a fundraiser for the Youth Fund, and we appreciate all your help! Breakfast assignments have been emailed to students.

NLOM Camp Gala Volunteer Opportunity

Our High School students are invited to help volunteer at the 2026 NLOM Camp Gala on Saturday April 11th from 5:30-8:30. Camp will donate to our Youth Fund for our help with their Silent Auction. Please let Kelsey know if you can help!

Graduating Senior Sunday

Save the date! We will be celebrating our senior class on Sunday May 10th with a special blessing during worship. Please plan to be there!

2026 Fall Scholarship Application

Our Holy Cross Lutheran Church Endowment Board is currently accepting applications for 2026 Fall Scholarships. You'll find the information and application linked below. Applications are due Monday April 20th. Please contact the HCLC Endowment Board with questions.
