During the month of August, we continue on in the longest season of the church year, known as the “time after Pentecost.”  This lengthy season is often referred to as “Ordinary Time” and lasts all the way until Advent!  During the time after Pentecost, the color is green - with the exceptions of Reformation Sunday (red), All Saints Sunday, and Christ the King Sunday (both white).  Throughout the green season, we will remain focused on the life and ministry of Jesus as well as God’s on-going work in the world.
