Breathe With Me

Easter is upon us! One of my favorite things about April is all the little green sprouts appearing on trees and pops of color starting to show up through the dark brown soil. This colorful new life coming after a cold, dark winter gives me hope and reminds me that as followers of Jesus, we are Easter people! We are people of hope, people of new life. We live in a world that is often cold, dark, and full of death but we trust and know that there will always be new life. God is always making things new, bringing new life after death.

Relax, and find your breath. When you're ready, pray with me:

Inhale: God, you make all things new,

Exhale: Breathe new life into me.

Repeat that breath prayer as many times as you would like. End your meditation time with one long inhale and one extra long exhale.

"So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!

-2 Corinthians 5:17
