I can hardly stand to have the TV or radio on these days because of all the hatred and anger that is being broadcast from every direction.  Both sides of the political spectrum are painting pictures of their opposition as evil and using fear to motivate their supporters.  It is exhausting.

Fall season happens to be one of my favorite seasons.  Though I hate to see summer go, I love the idea that we are back in a routine, especially with all our choirs!

Join us on the front lawn Sunday, October 6th at 2:00 pm for our annual Blessing of the Pets!

Bring your cat, dog, reptile, and/or amphibian for a special blessing by Pastor Heather.  This is a rain or shine event, watch Facebook for updates!

We will be assembling roughly 17 young adult care packages for our young adult members on Sunday October 27th during the education hour. If you would like to donate items for the care packages, please see the list above and place them in the bin in the Narthex. Thank you for helping our young adults feel loved!

The weather is cooler, the leaves have turned - it's time for somd fall fun!

Our annual hayrack ride and bonfire couldn't happen this year, due to the permanent closing of Shady Lane Ranch. To make sure we have some good old fashioned fall fun together as a church family, we are having a Pumpkin Carving PARTY!

The Holy Cross Endowment Board invites student members to apply for a $500 scholarship for the spring semester. Please complete the application available by request from Office@hclchurch.com and return it to the church office by October 23rd.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s block party such a wonderful success.  Thank you for the bingo prizes, for helping to set up, and serve, and tear down.  Thank you for the monetary donations, the baking and cooking, the friendly smiles and willingness to jump in wherever you were needed.  Thank you for the wonderful hospitality you extended to the community, embracing every single person who attended as a beloved child of God.  Together you lived out our mission and shared God’s love with our neighbors.  Thank you!
