I am an avid journaler.  Most days I journal once in the morning when I first get up and once at night before I go to bed.  My journaling has taken many forms over the years and serves a variety of purposes.  But the most powerful journaling practice I have ever done is making a gratitude list.  No matter how I’m feeling or what’s going on in the world, taking the time to stop and focus on what I am grateful for helps to ground me in the present (not past regret or resentment, not future worry or fear) and reminds me of the good and beautiful in my life.

Thank you SO MUCH for all of the ways you made us feel loved and appreciated this past month for church worker appreciation!  The flowers, cookies, cards, meals, and snacks were amazing!  We are so lucky to work alongside the amazing people of Holy Cross and are incredibly grateful to be part of this church family.  Thank you to the Stewardship Team for organizing everything and thank you to everyone for all the love and support.  We appreciate you!!
