My family and I took time at the end of June to spend time together in God’s good creation in Colorado.  Marvelling at the beauty God has created helps me to ground myself in God’s love and goodness.  It encourages me and fills me up, giving me the strength I need for when beauty isn’t so obvious.

An update on our March shoe collection - 

Thank you to everyone who was able to donate shoes to our collection for “Day Without Shoes,” benefitting the Stephen Center.  Our congregation collected over 125 pairs, to add to the total community collection of 4,922 pairs of shoes, enabling each resident of the Stephen Center to shop for 6 pairs of shoes.  The remaining shoes were made available to the broader Omaha community for those in need.

From Jennifer Summers, Community Partner Liaison at Stephen Center, “ We know that for many of the individuals we serve, walking is their primary mode of transportation, making this gift not only meaningful, but essential. We are so grateful for your support in making this possible. Your partnership has made a direct and lasting difference in the lives of so many.”

Thank you for the love and support you have given me. I love flowers! The six beautiful yellow roses for my "85" birthday are very special. I appreciate you very much!
