Lifelong Christian education is a priority of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. We are never done learning, thinking and growing in our understanding of God and God's work in the world and in our lives. We offer numerous opportunities for people of all ages and all backgrounds to continue to grow in faith and knowledge.
During the school year, we meet every Sunday morning between services, 9:45 to 10:45, in the Fellowship Hall for Adult Bible Study or Adult Forum.
During the school year we meet each Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00, as part of our WET programming (Wednesday Evenings Together) for Bible Study in the Cross Center.
During September, we will study Philipians, a letter written by Paul, to the congregation he founded in Philippi. Join us as we read and discuss the letter.
Thursday evening bible study began September 15th with a study of the Book of Revelation. During this six-session study we will explore how Revelation, through imagery grounded in Scripture, reveals who Jeus is and who we are called to be in response. We meet on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. on the following dates: September 15 & 29; October 6, 13, & 20; and November 3.
Under the umbrella of our women's organization, Women of the ELCA, there are four women's Bible Study Circles.
A new circle Kickoff Event is taking place on Thursday, September 15 at 7 p.m. at the church. The evening's activities include bible study led by Lu Schmitt. Child care will be provided. Contact Kris Casari, 402-493-3873 or Bernie Lenser 402-571-1490 if interested.
