Pastor Jim Killough [pastorjim@hclchurch.com]
Pastor Jim was called to be Senior Pastor of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in October of 2005. Previous to serving at Holy Cross, he was Pastor of Congregational Life at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church in Omaha and Pastor of Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Johnson, NE. Pr. Jim graduated from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, NE and received his Master of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus, OH. Pastor Jim is married to Deb, who teaches kindergarten for Omaha Public Schools. They have two teenage sons, Joel and Brett.
Pastor Jan Peterson [pastorjan@hclchurch.com]
Pastor Jan was called to be the Associate Pastor of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in October of 2007, shortly after completing her seminary education at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkley, CA. Prior to her ordination, Pastor Jan served as a Vicar at Holy Cross and prior to that as our Youth and Family Ministry Director. Pastor Jan received her undergraduate degree from Dana College in Blair, NE. Pastor Jan's husband Steve works for Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska. They have two daughters Sara and Allie.
Kelsey Joseph, Youth Director [kelsey@hclchurch.com]
Kelsey graduated from Hastings College in 2007. She graduated with a major in Exercise Science, and a minor in Christian Ministry. Soon after graduating, she started her full time position as Director of Youth Ministries at Holy Cross. Prior to her graduation, she held an internship with First St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hastings, NE where she worked with the youth and children of the congregation. She coaches high school and club volleyball, and has a passion for working with young people. As the Director of Youth Ministries for Holy Cross, Kelsey oversees all Junior and Senior High curriculum and activities.
Jennifer Wallwey, Worship & Music Coordinator [jennifer@hclchurch.com]
Jennifer Wallwey was called to Holy Cross in July 2006 to begin her work as Worship & Music Coordinator. Jennifer oversees the music and worship ministries of Holy Cross, coordinating and planning worship, events, and directing and overseeing musical ensembles. Jennifer attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney, majoring in music education, and was commissioned as Associate in Ministry through the ELCA in December 2004. She previously served as Director of Music & Celebration Arts at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church. Jennifer is married to Jon, who works for Cox Communications. They have 3 children, Alex and Delaney, and Connor.
Nichol Dolezal, Children's Ministry Director [nicholdolezal@yahoo.com]
Nichol Dolezal and her family joined Holy Cross in February 2007. She is married to Kevin and they have 2 boys, Benjamin and Nicholas. Nichol has been a teacher for Millard Public Schools for over 10 years. She has enjoyed volunteering for various roles in the church, including the Christian Education Committee. She was called to join the staff of Holy Cross in August 2008 as the Children's Ministry Director. Nichol oversees the Sunday school programing for 3 year olds thru fifth grade, W.E.T. (Wednesday Evenings Together) service programing for Pre K thru fifth grade, nursery care, VBS (vacation Bible school), and many other programing opportunities for children.

Samantha "Sam" serves as our Administrative Assistant. She is the one who will warmly greet you either on the phone or in the office. Sam is the one who keeps everything moving and organized in our church office.
Ed Krueger, Financial Secretary & Technology Technician [ed@hclchurch.com]
Ed Krueger wears several hats. He serves as head of audio-visuals and keeps our computers updated and running smoothly. He also serves as Financial Secretary.
